FCC (Federal Communications Commission) was established by communication act in 1934. It is an independent organization in the United States and is directly responsible to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites, and cables. Involving more than 50 states, Colombia and regions of the United States, in order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property, office of engineering and technology is responsible for the technical support of the committee, and is also responsible for equipment approval. Many radio application products, communication products and digital products to enter the U.S. market, require FCC approval
There are three authentication methods
First: FCC ID registration authentication
1. Most of them are used in the application of general radio products. The test report must be examined by FCC Committee personnel, and the approval certificate shall be issued after approval.
2. The main products include: R & TTE products, PC and PC peripherals.
3. Certification method: the product shall pass the test in the FCC approved test room. After obtaining the test report, sort out the technical data of the product, including product detail photos, block diagrams, user manuals, etc., and send them to the FCC TCB test room together with the test report. FCC TCB test room confirms that all data are correct and issues certificates.
The second:Declaration of Conformity (DOC)
1. This kind of application products are mainly for it products and peripheral auxiliary equipment. Without the need for FCC personnel to review test reports, manufacturers can use self certification. Self certification test report must be issued by nvlap standard recognized laboratory. FCC class a products can be self certified, and the application process does not need to be reviewed by the FCC Committee.
2. The main products include: it products, especially suitable for PC and PC peripherals.
3. Certification method: for the products within the above scope, the manufacturer must pass the test room registered by FCC and authorized by A2LA or NVLAP. EMCC is the authorized test room of A2LA. After the product passes the test, the manufacturer can get doc and test report, and then label the FCC mark on the product for sale in the U.S. market.
The third:Self Verification of Conformity (VOC)
1. The product can complete a self confirmation report in the FCC approved laboratory.
2. The main products include: AV products, corded phones, ordinary household appliances, etc., and are suitable for digital devices other than PC and PC peripheral devices.

First time application: need to register FCC company code, need to provide registrant information (company contact full name in English, job title, telephone, fax, e-mail)

FCC-ID Certification
1. Description
FCC-ID is one of the mandatory FCC certification modes in the United States, which is suitable for wireless products with more difficult technology. Products with wireless transmission frequency, such as Bluetooth equipment, WiFi equipment, wireless alarm equipment, radio receiving and transmission equipment, telephone, computer, etc., need to apply for FCC-ID certification. The certification of wireless products is directly approved by FCC TCB, and can be found on FCC website.
2. Process
Businesses applying for FCC-ID number certification for the first time need to register in FCC and establish the application company file in FCC-FRN before they can apply for FCC-ID. all reports are reviewed by fcc-tcb organization, submitted to FCC Management Center for publication on the website, and then the product information can be found through ID number on FCC website in the United States.

FCC Part 95 －Personal Radio Service, includes devices such as Citizens Band (CB) transmitters, radio-controlled(R/C) toys, and devices for utilization under the family radio service
