Australian SAA Certification

Standards Australia International Limited is the only Australian standard certification bodies. The institution was established in 1922, at the time named "Commonwealth of Australia Engineering Standards Association" and renamed "Australian Standards Institute" in 1929. With the continuous development of business, in 1990 an increase of Quality Assurance Services Pty Ltd (Quality Assurance Services Pty Ltd). In 1999, the institution completely renounced the nature of the association and registered it in the form of company. In 1988, it signed a memorandum of understanding with the federal government, defining its independence and authority in australia. 2. Non controlled electrical appliances:

Non regulated products although not mandatory certification, but its safety by the vendor / manufacturer responsibility, may voluntarily apply for certification. The monitoring department will meet the standard requirements of the products issued by the certificate of compliance (CertificateofSuitability). AS/NZS3823.2, AS/NZS3823.3) the applicant must submit the application form to the monitoring mechanism and attach the correct and complete test report and label samples. The test report shall be issued by an accredited laboratory and valid for three years from the date of issue
